{Posh Inspiration} "39... How Sweet It Is" Inspiration Board

My friend Shawna ALWAYS has a HUGE birthday party.  They are always so fun and usually themed(her 38th was smurfette themed...I know...hillarious!).  This year she will be 39 and I am doing her printables.  She is doing a "room full of desserts" and I will be designing her backdrop, table etc.! Hate that I am missing it this year but, I will be there in spirit.. and in printables.  Here's a look at our coral/tourquoise inspiration station! Stay tuned for real party pics and the Etsy Collection!

{Posh Crush} Major Crush On This Trashy Kid's Party

Want to do something fun and different for your kiddos summer party this year?  Get creative and base the theme around their little-tiny-baby-passions.  Annika, from cakes-likes a -party created the cutest Trash Truck Party for her son Brooks! It honestly has been a while since I have seen something so fun and creative.  From the kids trash pick-up game to the adult "Don't get trashed" bar, she nailed the theme! What a great idea to use trash as treasure and decorate with it! I just can't say enough about this cute party. My favorite detail is the matching family coveralls with badges! too precious!! Thanks for helping us all think outside of our cardboard boxes Annika! Read more about this party on Annika's blog!

{Posh Bliss} Kate + Darryl's Super Fun Save-The-Date!

My sweet friend Kate is getting married!!! I am so excited for her and was just tickled pink when she asked me to design her save the dates! Her sister and I have been friends for years and she was always like a little sissy to me growing up so I am just so proud and thrilled for her!  And....Her hubby-to-be is a Canadian....and a hockey player (both, very close to my heart as my husband shares those similarities) so...I am so glad they decided to incorporate Hockey into the wedding! Here's to the future Smith's! I wish you all the happiness in the world!

{Posh Bakes} EASTER SWEETS ON EASY STREET!

My friends and family are always telling me that they love cape pops but, never have the time and patience it takes to make them.  I agree that you have to space the steps out over 1 to 2 days to not go stir crazy.  So, I have found a SUPER EASY Easter treat from Betty Crocker.  I believe these were intended to be for Christmas but, theses little bright beauties say "died Easter egg twin" to me!  All you need is a mini muffin pan, 1 box of Betty Crocker Cake Mix(and ingredients on box), NEON food coloring and a piping bag!  To make it even EASIER, forget the piping bag.  I sometimes put my icings in a Ziploc and cut a hole in the corner as big as I would like my piping to be.  Give them a try! They are sure to make your Easter table POP!

{Posh Parties} Avonlea's Baptism

My niece was baptized a couple of weeks ago and I wanted to personalize the occasion a bit so, I took inspiration from one of my baby shower collections and this is what I came up with.
Her initials are ADCG.  I know, It's a lot of letters but, her unique monogram made for a great little mnemonic! "A Darling Child of God"! I created a wine label for them to have as a keepsake, "Sweet Signs"(cupcake toppers) and a couple of gift tags. I also invented a new recipe in prepping for this little shindig. Peanut butter banana cupcakes! They were delicious.

{Posh Baby} 2D Zoo Collection

My month is all about sweet Texan babies! My last post was a shower invite I did for my friend Sarah for her friend Sabrina and now this invite is for Sabrina for her sister Brittany. I love it! Brittany's shower "theme" is centered around the VERY POPULAR and Modern 2D Zoo Nursery Collection by Alexander Henry seen here on Lady Button Fabrics.  Congrats Brittany! Hope the day is full of joy!
